Skydiving Adventures. Not for the Faint of Heart

If you get the chance, take it. You might be more scared than you’ve ever been (after signing all the disclaimer of death forms, taking a puddle jumper plane 12,000 feet up and then having the door open on you as you jump out)

Watch the video and pay attention to how scared I am in the back of the plane…my fear of heights is very, very real. Matter of fact, I was so scared on the way up that I used the restroom twice before takeoff and almost did twice in the plane.

For anyone who has never jumped out of a plane, maybe you will have the opportunity and then summons the courage to do it. Skydiving is extremely satisfying when it’s over. Man, it feels great to free-fall for 13 seconds (at 126 mph) and then float like a butterfly for 15 or so minutes after the parachute opens.

If you can, do it…you’ll be glad you did. This is just another example of not letting fear stop you (in any area of life)!

Oh, and if you do decide to jump, invest the $100 and get your jump recorded.

Enjoy my utter terror as the plane slowly climbs to 12,000 feet…

One thing is for sure. The rush you get free-falling is one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. You must do it if you have the chance. It really is amazing…

  1. Just don’t do it if you have a cold or sinus infection……you’ll land feeling like your head exploded and you won’t be able to hear for days. It can result in permanent hearing damage. Tell don’t tell you that before you jump! It’s a crazy high….only do it if you don’t have children! God bless ya and may the shute open!! Peace, kj

    • The only thing I want to do when I have a cold or sinus infection is lay on the couch eating chicken noodle soup and popsicles while drinking 7-up and watching movies. Thanks for the heads up though and true-dat on the shute opening. BTW, I jumped with 5 buddies and 1 had to cut away to his emergency shute…never a dull moment at 10,000 feet…

  2. Definitely on my list of to-dos. Way to go man.

  3. Double D!!! where’s your HAIR!!! LOL!
